SUMMARY:
The Elgin, Joliet & Eastern Railway is seeking to fill an entry-level Management Associate position. New associates are provided 6-12 months of training in conjunction with assignments to assist in their development. This position will support management staff in their efforts to plan, schedule, and control all phases of rail transportation operations, in order to satisfy industry requirements of our customers. This position could also be called upon to assist management in the areas of analysis of operations, long-range planning for our Chicago regional market and oversight of projects. Responsibilities also include the evaluation of proposed projects and the recommendation of possible changes in operations that could contribute to increased company profits. Candidates must be flexible to work in out-of-state locations and to the possibility of future relocation, as the needs of the company require.
