SUMMARY: Skilled railroad car inspectors needed with at least two years of experience. This is a maintenance position which requires the ability to perform visual inspection and manual labor on all types of railroad cars using hand tools, such as hammers, pry bars, torches and wrenches. Other specific duties can include welding, burning, fabrication, and preventative maintenance. Car inspectors should expect to work outdoors in industrial settings, in all weather conditions, and the position will require the ability to perform a considerable amount of walking, climbing and occasional lifting up to 80 lbs. The hours of work are generally 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, however, new employees may be required to work other shifts. |

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: All candidates must have a valid driver's license. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required. |

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: AAR railroad car inspection background is preferred. |
