The rules in this Section are applicable only on Exempt (Non-Regulated) Traffic.The Rules in
Section 1 also apply on Exempt Traffic, except where in conflict with the rules in this Section.
Where a conflict exists between the rules in Section 1 herein and the rules in Section 2,
the rules in Section 2 take precedence.

RULE 530 -- CARRIER LIABILITY TO SHIPPER

No claim or suit for physical loss of or damage to any shipment transported pursuant to this Section 2 shall be made or filed by customer for amounts of $250.00 or less per car --minimum claim amount.

Claims shall be settled in accordance with 49 U.S.C. Section 11706, except liability is limited to a maximum of $10,000 per car for the account of GRW.
